App Privacy Policy (Listiq iOS App)

Thank you for using Listiq, the beautifully smart shopping list app.
We value your privacy and want you to understand exactly how your data is handled.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we do — and do not — collect when you use Listiq.

  1. No Personal Data Collected

    Listiq does not collect, store, process, share, or sell any personal data. We do not track you, identify you, or gather analytics about your behavior.

    Specifically, Listiq does not collect:

    • Your name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Location data
    • Device identifiers
    • Contacts
    • Usage analytics
    • Cookies or tracking information
    • Purchase history
    • Any data entered into the app

    Your shopping lists, items, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device and, if enabled, automatically synced via Apple’s iCloud using your personal Apple ID.

  2. iCloud Syncing (Optional)

    If you choose to use iCloud syncing, your data is stored securely in your private iCloud storage. This data is encrypted, managed, and protected by Apple, not Listiq.

    Listiq does not have access to:

    • Your iCloud account
    • Your files
    • Any synced data

    Sharing lists via iCloud also happens entirely through Apple’s CloudKit technology, without Listiq seeing or processing your data.

  3. Subscriptions & Purchases

    When you purchase a subscription (Listiq Basic nad Plus Subscriptions), all payment processing is handled by Apple’s App Store.

    Listiq receives no access to your:

    • Payment information
    • Billing details
    • Apple ID
    • Purchase methods

    We only receive anonymized, non-personal information from Apple about whether a purchase was successful so the app can unlock paid features.

  4. Third-Party Services

    Listiq does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, advertising SDKs, or external servers. No data is sent to anyone outside your device or iCloud.

  5. Children’s Privacy

    Listiq does not collect any data and does not require personal information to function. Children may use the app safely.

  6. Security

    Your data remains on your device or inside your private iCloud account. Both are protected by Apple’s built-in security and encryption mechanisms.

    Listiq cannot access or modify your data, and no one else can access it unless you explicitly share a shopping list through Apple’s sharing features.

  7. Changes to This Policy

    If we ever introduce new features that require data handling, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such changes take effect.

    You will always be able to review any changes before continuing to use Listiq.
